Sammy

We have a new member of our class! Although he can't draw or color or build with the blocks the children welcomed our newest member Sammy our pet gerbil. We took a vote on what his name should be(come check out our class book to see what the children suggested) and Sammy was the winner. He is very sweet and loves to run on his wheel!

Pets

This month we have talked about different animals and this last week we talked about animals you could have as a pet. We also talked about how to care for our pets. The pictures are of the children playing "vet" with their stuffed animals and also the doghouse they painted for them as well.

Reading center

Class Visitor

Kylie brought in her new pet hamster "Peaches" to show the class. He was so sweet and let everyone hold him!

Painting with feathers

In our study of the letter F the children painted with feathers. I love their concentration!!

Mr. Inchworm

We found an inchworm while playing outside today. Kylie and Todd enjoyed watching it inch along.
